Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8-Hour Day Shifts
$28–$35/hour based on experience
$2500 Sign-On Bonus Structure available to Registered Veterinary Technicians

South Asheville Veterinary Emergency & Specialty (SAVES) is hiring a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician to join our Oncology service in Asheville, North Carolina. This is an opportunity to work hands-on with advanced oncology cases in a collaborative specialty hospital that prioritizes patient care, technician growth, and work-life balance.
Veterinary Technician Pay & Benefits:
- $28–$35/hour based on experience
$1,500 annual CE allowance for RVT team members

Schedule: Full-Time Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts
Veterinary Technician Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care and treatment for Oncology patients
Administer medications, chemotherapy treatments, and supportive care
Assist veterinarians with diagnostics and procedures
Monitor anesthesia and sedation patients
Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, laboratory collection, and patient monitoring
Educate and support clients throughout treatment plans
Collaborate with Oncology doctors and hospital leadership
Help optimize workflows and patient care processes within the Oncology service

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Registered, Certified, or Licensed Veterinary Technician (RVT/CVT/LVT)
Specialty or Oncology experience preferred but not required
Strong technical and communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced specialty hospital
Commitment to exceptional patient care and client service
Fluent English speaking and reading skills required
