Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT/LVT) – Full Time

Cedar City Veterinary Care is a privately owned, growing small animal practice looking for an amazing Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team!

What You’ll Do

Our RVTs are an essential part of patient care and are trusted with real responsibility.

You’ll be responsible for:

Inducing, monitoring, and recovering anesthesia
Performing dental prophylaxis and obtaining full-mouth dental radiographs
Assisting with surgery and dentistry
Placing IV catheters
Collecting blood and urine samples
Running in-house laboratory diagnostics
Taking diagnostic radiographs
Accurately maintaining anesthesia and medical records
Maintaining DEA-controlled drug logs and inventory
Client education and discharge instructions
Working closely with the veterinarian to provide exceptional patient care

Registered/Licensed Veterinary Technician (RVT/LVT)
Dependable and punctual

Comfortable communicating openly
Excited to continue learning and growing
Attention to detail, reliability, and accurate medical recordkeeping are essential for this position.

Schedule

Full-time (36–40 hours/week)
Four-day work week
One Saturday morning per month
No emergency or overnight shifts

Compensation & Benefits

$24–28/hour based on experience and skills
Performance-based raise after a successful 60-day introductory period

Requirements

Active RVT/LVT license in Ohio
