About Monto Veterinary Group
Monto Veterinary Group is a progressive, well-equipped mixed animal practice with a team of six veterinarians servicing a loyal client base across the North Burnett. Our caseload is approximately 60% large animal work and 40% small animal medicine and surgery, offering plenty of variety and the opportunity to build skills across multiple areas of practice.
No two days are the same, with everything from calvings and equine dentistry to puppy vaccinations and surgery keeping things interesting. We pride ourselves on our supportive team culture, where everyone works together and genuinely enjoys coming to work.

The Position
- A diverse mixed-animal caseload with the support, equipment and autonomy to do your best work.
- Your own fully equipped farm vehicle, plus access to a comprehensive range of diagnostic and reproductive equipment including species-specific ultrasounds, digital radiology, Imagyst Cytology, equine gastroscopy, power floats, orthopaedic equipment, mobile crush facilities, canine TCI equipment and more.

Requirements
About You
- A passion for rural mixed practice and an appreciation for the diversity it provides.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in mixed animal practice.
- Confidence in routine small animal consultations and surgical procedures.
- An interest in large animal work and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- The ability to work autonomously while valuing teamwork and support
- Strong client relationship-building and communication skills.
- A positive, team-oriented mindset with a genuine enthusiasm for learning and growth.
- Most importantly, we're looking for someone who will fit in with our clinic culture, enjoys a laugh, and is excited to become part of our community.
