Description
Central Florida Community Pet Clinic, located on the “fun coast” (DeBary, FL-Volusia County), is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated professional to join our clinic family. Our mission is to provide accessible, high-quality spay/neuter/wellness services to owned animals and support our community cat population in our shelters and on our streets.
Our ideal candidate is a natural born leader, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and have a positive, professional team-oriented attitude. Excellent client communication and quality of medicine is required. Spaying/neutering is paramount to our mission so surgical skills are required for this position. A typical surgery day will be 6-8 dogs, with no more than two large females, and the remainder are cats. A high percentage of our surgical patients are community cats.
While we are mission-focused for spay/neuter of dogs and cats, you also have the opportunity to perform other soft tissue surgeries as needed.
Our business model provides for a good life/work balance. We offer a 4-day work week so every weekend is a three-day weekend! You will have plenty of time to enjoy all the nature central Florida has to offer. Blue Springs State Park, the winter home to hundreds of manatees, is just a 15-minute drive away. If theme parks are your thing, get to Orlando’s world-famous Disney, Universal Studios and Sea World attractions on less than a tank of gas.
We have experienced technical support staff with outstanding skills. We work hard and treat all our patients with care and respect while actually enjoying the company of our coworkers.
