Shiloh Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned, AAHA-accredited, Fear Free, and Cat Friendly small animal hospital (with a few pocket pets and reptiles for those who are interested). What You’ll Do
Our CVT's are the heartbeat of the hospital, and we utilize them to their fullest:
- Provide sterile assistance on most abdominal surgeries, including spays.
- Handle all aspects of anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.
- Perform digital dental radiography, dental cleanings, and assist the vet with extractions.
- Examine FNA, ear, and skin cytology on our awesome microscopes with HD cameras!
- Support our doctors in appropriately-paced 30-minute appointments and help to educate clients on ways to help their pets live longer, happier lives.
- Perform therapeutic laser treatments and take digital X-rays.
- Provide medical care for hospitalized pets with the support of veterinary assistants.
Schedule & Work-Life Balance
- We close at 6 PM nightly, and at noon on Saturdays
- Every other Saturday rotation
- No late nights, no toxic drama, no corporate pressure

Requirements
- Must be a Credentialed Veterinary Technician/Nurse
- Experience with cytology, dental x-rays, anesthesia and sterile surgical assistance a bonus, but we are happy to help you to regain any rusty skills that you have lost while working at other practices!
- Willing to consider new graduates (ideally after passing the VTNE) and the occasional internship/externship.
